Green Acura Integra (1997 - 2002)
I bought the car used in 1997 and during the next four years I drove it over 135,000 miles across the US and Canada. It was my only companion for the bulk of my travel. The person I am now is inconceivable had that car not been a stalwart friend who showed me a whole new world.
In July of 2002 I was on I-20 heading West near Monroe, LA when a storm came up. I hydroplaned and hit a bridge wall twice as the car spun around until it found the median. I was unhurt but the car was damaged. I was devastated after I said bye for the last time and rode a Greyhound bus back home.
